The upcoming issue of Jet Magazine talks about the 2008 Beijing Games and the Black athletes to watch at the Olympics:
Tennis champs Venus and Serena Williams, basketball star Dwyane Wade, and track and field great Tyson Gay are just a few of the world’s elite Black athletes ready to compete on the grandest stage on the globe at the Olympics. The best African-American sports stars are prepared to vie for the gold there when the international multi-sport competition opens Aug. 8 in China’s capital, Beijing. For 21 days, they’ll join more than 10,000 other men and women representing over 200 nations, all competing for the ultimate prize of Olympic glory.

Forget about D Wade, Star Jones was spotted in NYC last night on the town with some kind fellow. Dude is looking a little too young for Star, but at least his ass doesn’t look suspect. Update: This mystery date with Star is Dr. Marc Lamont Hill, a professor at Temple University…

Dwyane spoke out on the rumors about he and Star being an item:
“Star is an unbelievable woman. We have a great, great relationship. As friends. We are friends. That’s all.”
We’re pleased to see that D. set the record straight. Besides, he’s a tad bit too masculine for Star’s tastes.

Star Jones and Dwyane Wade were spotted at a Tennis match together last year. Now, fresh off her break up with botty boy Al, rumors fly that the two are an item:
“It’s been one whole day since news broke that Star Jones filed for divorce from Al — and already Star is being linked to Miami Heat guard Dwayne Wade. A rep for Star Jones [said] that the rumors aren’t true.”
Wow. Maybe they’ve had a thing brewing for a while, although it’s hard to image Dwyane dumping Siohvaughn for Star - unless he has some sort of deflated fat girl fetish - Yuck.

Dwyane Wade held the grand opening of his new sports grill recently. Looks like he’s enjoying the single life. He’s spotted getting a little cozy with the hired help.
Gold-digger’s everywhere must be salivating to see the young, single, sexy, athlete/entrepreneur. Poor Siohvaughn didn’t stand a chance.

Bossip exclusively reported last month that Dwayne Wade was spotted trying to get at a couple of lingerie models and now comes word that his marriage is headed for divorce.
Shaq, D-Wade, and Kobe is probably next. We think we are going to start up a company offering child support insurance to celebs. Siohvaughn, who just had a baby, is rumored to gank at least $10 million from the divorce.
She was always there for him, poor thang.
