Very interesting how Ebony/Jet is trying to cozy up to Hip Hop. I guess they realized that their beloved civil rights era entertainers were dying out. It is such a shame that they as the leading black publications, allowed white magazines to give Hip Hop cover stories first. Run DMC, Public Enemy, KRS etc never were Ebony cover stories. They would rather give covers to half breeds that deny being black. See Tiger and Miriah. Ebony/Jet would be dead if they didn’t feature Hip Hop. They aren’t doing it out of love or respect.

I was gonna say the same thing but then realized he isn’t quite 21 yet lol. I remember Sammie from like 8 years ago when he came out with 2 singles. The song “I like It” got a LOT of Radio play. If you heard it, you would VAGUELY remember. He also was on that song “Hardball” wit’ Bow Wow (before the voice change lol) and Lil Zane and Lil Wayne (before the EGO attack)
