Poor Beanie Sigel. The rapper just can’t stay out of trouble with the feds.
Sigel, who spent a year in jail after being sentenced in 2004 for drug and weapons offenses, was back in federal court yesterday for violating terms of his supervised release for a third time. Authorities said Sigel, whose real name is Dwight Grant, gave a false urine sample to probation officials on Feb. 29 and also tested positive five times earlier this month for controlled substances, including Xanax and Percocet. The former is used to treat anxiety and the latter is typically used to treat moderate to severe pain, but is considered very addictive. Continue »
Contrary to online rumors, Def Jam has not dropped the entire Roc-A-Fella Records roster. Roc-A-Fella artists include Kanye West, Freeway, Beanie Sigel, Tru Life, DJ Clue, Memphis Bleek, Young Gunz and Hector Bambino.
“I don’t think there’s going to be a Roc-A-Fella anymore. I do think each artist will have to go to the new people in charge and have a meeting separately. But the Roc artists aren’t going to roll over and die.”
“Beans and Freeway didn’t get dropped. I just got off the phone with L.A. Reid talking about the next video for ‘Rain’ featuring Raheem DeVaughn that we’re about to release. We’re re-launching Beanie’s project and releasing a ‘Rain’ remix with State Property.”
Beanie Sigel was sentenced to ONE day in federal prison and faces 6 months in a halfway home for violating his probation. What a waste of taxpayer dollars. Will they actually go through the motions of locking him up? These celebrity jail terms are turning into a big joke.
Looks like some strings where pulled and the inspection was passed after all. Camel’s 40/40 opened last night in Vegas and had some pretty interesting characters in attendance including Al Sharpton and Joe Jackson.
Who invited permed up Al? That nicca is anywhere there is a camera. SMH.

They’re not quite at this status yet, but Scott Storch and Beanie Sigel are having some money issues.
Storch who was once worth $70 million dollars and now listed at $17 million, had all his credit cards declined at a night club in Miami recently. Beanie Sigel who had trouble paying for a little Nissan rent-a-car back in October, also had trouble getting his Maserati out of a Philly impound. A friend had to pay $1700 to get Beanie’s car out after it was booted and towed a month ago. The car was about to be auctioned off.
There’s clearly something wrong when you have a Maserati, but yet you cannot cough up $1700. SMH.
Just a little bit ago, Beans slammed Kanye in an interview stating he should just come out the closet. Now Beans is saying there is no real beef between the two.
“I don’t really dwell on that sh–, man. He called me for songs, so I guess [there are no problems]. “I been trying to get beats from that n—a since before I went to jail.”
Beans is also trying to get on the “Can’t Tell Me Nothing” remix. He seems desperate for a beat. We have a feeling he’s going to end up on one of our “fu*kin for tracks” post this year.
