A Breath of Fresh Air

Posted by Bossip Staff

The Obamas are the headliners of the latest issue of People Magazine where they offer a rare look inside their family life. And we’ve included some pics of this dude named Luis Lay who is considered to be Germany’s official Barack Obama impersonator. We really don’t see the resemblance. They must really think we all look alike over there. SMH.

Messy Jesse’s at it Again

Posted by Bossip Staff

Jesse Jackson apparently dropped the N-Bomb during his infamous “nut cutting” rant last week:

When Fox News aired the clip of civil right activist Jesse Jackson saying that he wanted to castrate Barack Obama, the media pounced on the major gaffe, forcing Jackson to repeatedly apologize the Illinois senator and his family. Now it’s being revealed that Reverend Jackson made potentially more damaging remarks in his caught-on-tape moment of shame.

Though the actual footage has not circulated, transcripts of the illicit conversation have been leaked and show Jackson to have used the “n-word.” According to TVNewser.com, Jackson said, “Barack…he’s talking down to black people…telling niggas how to behave.” Fox had edited out the racial slur in its broadcast. Obama Keeps His Eyes on the Prize

Immune to Their Attacks

SMH how white folks got Michelle with the fro and giving Barack a pound. The idiots over at the New Yorker are getting real out of pocket:

The Illinois senator is depicted in traditional Muslim garb in the Barry Blitt illustration set in the Oval Office. His wife, Michelle, is in fatigues, sporting an Angela Davis-style sky-high Afro, an AK-47 slung over her shoulder.

“The New Yorker may think, as one of their staff explained to us, that their cover is a satirical lampoon of the caricature Sen. Obama’s right-wing critics have tried to create. But most readers will see it as tasteless and offensive. And we agree,” Obama campaign spokesman Bill Burton said.

New Yorker editor David Remnick seemed shocked by the backlash. “Our cover … combines a number of fantastical images about the Obamas and shows them for the obvious distortions they are,” he said in a statement.

Obama brushed off the brouhaha. “I have no response to that,” he told reporters when asked about the cover, but his supporters are infuriated.

We all know how well versed our man Barack is at brushing off the bullshyte. You can always guarantee that he will show class and strength in the face of this kind of plain foolishness. Barack Obama ‘08 - YES WE CAN!!!

The Nas Report

Posted by Bossip Staff

Nas, never afraid to speak his mind, blasted Messy Jesse for making that infamous out of pocket statement:

“I think Jesse Jackson, he’s the biggest player hater. His time is up. All you old n****s, time is up. We heard your voice, we saw your marching, we heard your sermons. We don’t wanna hear that s**t no more.
“It’s a new day. It’s a new voice. I’m here now. We don’t need Jesse; I’m here. I got this. We got Barack, we got David Banners and Young Jeezys.
“We’re the voice now. It’s no more Jesse. Sorry. Goodbye. You ain’t helping nobody in the ‘hood. That’s the bottom line. Goodbye, Jesse. Bye!”

But he had nothing but kind words for Kanye West and Lil Wayne:

“I think Kanye West saved rap. I think Lil Wayne is showing there is a future for all kinds of artists to continue doing this.”

A Nation of Whiners??

Posted by Bossip Staff

John McCain’s campaign co-chairman and long time friend expressed his views about Americans recently:

Texan Phil Gramm [said] that much of Americans’ economic pain and uncertainty is psychosomatic [during] an interview with the conservative Washington Times. “You’ve heard of mental depression. This is a mental recession,” he told the paper. “We have sort of become a nation of whiners. … You just hear this constant whining, complaining about a loss of competitiveness, America in decline.”

Dig Obama’s response to that garbage:

“I guess what he meant was, it’s a figment of your imagination, these high gas prices,” Barack Obama told supporters in Fairfax, Va. “America already has one Dr. Phil. We don’t need another one when it comes to the economy.”

Naturally, McCain was quick to distance himself from that statement, although we’re sure he shares the same views. These Republicans are so out of touch with reality, and Obama was quick to call them on that shyte.

“Obama Obama…”

Check out this hilarious “A Milli” remake, dedicated to none other than our man Barack Obama.

Divide & Conquer

Posted by Bossip Staff

After an interview with a Fox “News” correspondent, Jesse Jackson conveniently whispered that he wanted to “cut Obama’s nuts off” while on camera - and of course, the vultures at Faux News couldn’t wait to put that sh*t on blast.

Click HERE to see this foolishness for yourselves.

Messy Jesse is throwin back that haterade like a champ. We suspect there’s some bona fide jealousy at play. But he’s so irrelevant at this point. It’s high time for that sucka to sit the hell down.

Update - Jesse apologizes, sort of:

“Well, they were hurtful and wrong, that’s the whole point,” Jackson said of his words. “And when you make mistakes you should not equivocate. You should be quick to go into offensive and not try to be evasive. And if it was said to him personally or in some public forum it would be even more hurtful. In this case, my error was responding to a question before a live mic. And so when he does hear them they will not be helpful; they will be hurtful. We have a relationship that can survive this.”

Yeah - Whateva Jesse. Shut your tired ass the f**k up already.
