Here’s Angie Stone is performing at the Heineken Music Hall in Amsterdam recently. She’s smack dab in the middle of her European tour.

D’Angelo found himself in court one mo’gin yesterday and got off easy after pleading guilty to charges stemming from a 2005 single car accident. Lucky for D’Angelo, he skipped jail time and walked away with only $1250 to pay and a 15 month suspension on his license.
D’Angelo has turned into one hot dusty mess. He needs to put the “brown sugar” away, call Angie Stone and get a revival ASAP.

Angie Stone who is known as the “Sugar Momma” in black hollywood wants to be given a little credit for making the brothas over. In a recent interview, she vouches that she was the one that brought the sexy out of D’Angelo.

When I was dating him he wore glasses, had short hair and his pants were hanging down to his butt. He was just a 19-year-old kid with big shorts and nobody cared and no one saw his beauty but me. And I told him, “You are beautiful. I promise you when your record drops your lips are gonna become famous, your eyes—everything will become famous. But he couldn’t see it because his self-esteem wasn’t where it is today. He didn’t even have an image and his hair was really short so I braided his hair with thread for his first album cover. It wasn’t until Brown Sugar came out that people actually took a good look at him and said, “You know what? He’s fine.” Then all of a sudden, he’s so fine he shouldn’t be with me.
