R. Kelly isn’t off the hook yet:
R. Kelly avoided arrest Thursday by showing up in court, but the judge presiding over his child pornography case said he’ll consider revoking the singer’s bond despite his excuse: that police made him late.
Judge Vincent Gaughan admonished the R&B superstar in court anyway, saying he’ll decide Friday whether he should revoke Kelly’s bond. The Cook County judge also was to set a trial date Friday.
There is a chance that justice will be served. Anti-pedophiles, it’s time to cross your fingers. This may be the moment that you’ve been waiting for.

Unfortunatly in this case they do need her, that is why they have been pressing so hard to get her to testify. They don’t have any other evidence but the tape, and quite as kept not only are they trying to convince her to testify, but they are trying to get other little girls that he has messed with to testify as well. They cannot send him to jail based off of the video alone. Murder is different from rape and in a rape case you need the victim to testify.

I usually don’t post to these sites but I have to give my opinion.
I was molested as a child but I don’t think R. Kelly should be put in jail. She walked into the room with her hand out (for money) and initiated it. She knew the game and how it worked so I feel she was adult enough to do it. It was terrible for him to do but it’s not like she was some innocent little girl sitting on the couch and he pinned her down and fondled or had sex with her against her will… She wanted it. To me taking it against her would be sick but that wasn’t the case. Sure she was young and he shouldn’t have done it but he did. I don’t think he deserves jail time though. I think maybe 5 years of probation and classes or something would suffice. He definitely did not do it like some of the perverts you see on TV. This girl was very willing and handled it like she no where near niave plus there was no hesitation. As an adult, she doesn’t want him to go to jail.
