These are supposed to be college educated people, who will be in positions of authority and power(teachers, lawyers, bankers,etc) who CAN have a tremendous effects on people’s lives. When people react to a situation like Jena6 in the faashion they did it’s sad! I think a real part of healing our racially divided nation is to first acknowledge that it exists then to find a certain degree of compassion. Once we can do that as a people plus lose the stereotypes then we can start to heal!
