MC Breed on Life Support

MC Breed is currently on life support after collapsing during a basketball game in ATL:
Flint, Michigan rapper MC Breed is in critical condition at an undisclosed hospital in Atlanta, where he is on life support due to kidney failure, AllHipHop.com has confirmed. His manager, Darryl Morris, said the rapper, born Eric Breed, was playing a game of pickup basketball yesterday evening (September 5) in Atlanta, when he collapsed and fell unconscious. “He had to be revived three times,” Morris told AllHipHop.com. “He had to be rushed to the hospital where they diagnosed him and told him his kidney’s have failed.”
Now, MC Breed, 36, is in serious need of a kidney transplant and is seeking a donor to help save his life.

Hey Bossip that website isn’t legit! That is sad because I would love to tell his manager that he is in my prayers. I remember him like yesterday. Back when I was in high school I use to bump this. I didn’t know he was that young. I am 34 so he must have been about 19 or 20 when he came out! Man, if you find out what he was diagnosed with please let us know. Thanks

I just heard his wife on the radio here in Atlanta - she says that he does not need a transplant. Just keep him in our prayers……
endstage kidney failure is often caused by uncontrolled long standing hypertension, diabetes is another common cause. Medications, drugs and other nephrotoxins can be a causative factor. Bottom line, TAKE CARE of yourselves black folks

Oh.My.God. I currently reside in Flint, MI (raised here) and I had no idea that so many people outside of MI even knew who Breed was. I will definitely keep him in my prayers…I love Breed like a brother. Flint-Town!!!!!!

have any of you heard of that drink he’s holdin in the pic? there’s folks in atl who sell it like mary k. if u have ever heard of tahitian noni..it’s one of their products…would hate to think it was tied to the kidney failure.
transplant is not a cure just a treatment option….antirejection drugs can cause a person develope cancer….that negro better get on a dialysis machine….
