Solange is set to shock fans on her new album by singing about drug-fueled sex. The pretty 22-year-old, who was a mom at 18, sings about smoking marijuana and making love on a new Lil Wayne duet, called ChampagneChronicNightcap. And she insists every track on her new album Sol-AngeL & The Hadley St. Dreams is written from personal experience. She tells Giant magazine, “I am unapologetic; I don’t write about things unless they’re true. I’m a grown-ass woman and I’ve experienced grown-ass things.”

I’ve been at this job for 6 months, and over the past 2 this machine has been effing with me on a daily basis. It’s a Minolta (Konico?), it has it’s good days.
What’s interesting is how it’s built, I can run 100 color copies with no problem because of the thingamajig the colored pages run through, but let me try to print 10 black and white copies, and it just stops working. It can e-mail the person who originated the job from it’s workstation. It’ll take me 20 minutes to un-jam it, then it’ll e-mail me 30 minutes after I’ve sat back down.
I told my boss I’m sorry if arson occurs in the copy room and the copy room only. She said she’s willing to look the other way if I take out our fax machine, too.

Neither of the Knowles sisters is a bad girl or a good girl. They’re just regular women who live in the spotlight. It seems Solange has taken her own path, not the one driven by her father, as he has created for Beyonce. I know older people who’ve seen Beyonce perform in the clubs when she was in HIGH SCHOOL, and it’s well known in Texas that Solange wouldn’t perform the same songs as her sister.
She’s been performing the type of material she has now for years, and it’s good to see her doing what she feels is the best fit for her. I with them both nothing but success, but you have to find your own path. I’m sure when you have a famous relative, and you want to stay in the family business, it can be hard for you to break out.
