A jury has been selected in R. Kelly’s child pornography trial:
Jury selection was completed at R.Kelly’s child pornography trial Thursday amid contentious exchanges between prosecutors and defense attorneys, who accused each other of trying to stack the panel along racial lines.
The jury consists of eight whites and four blacks. The four alternates are two blacks, one Hispanic and one white. Defense attorneys objected several times as prosecutors used challenges to have blacks dismissed from the jury pool.
This thang is really about to go down. Damn Kellz it might just be a wrap for real.

This case really pissed me off when it first came out. Old dudes taking advantage of little girls. It reminded me of my younger years, many moons ago “The 90’s” hee-hee. When I was a cheerleader in high school. Old Chesters would hang out at the HS football games. These guy were 25 to 30 which is not really old, but when your 15 to 17 it is. I can recall countless dudes trying to get with me and my friends. When I was 15 there was this 27 year old hawking me. This one particuliar 27 year old went so far as to ask my classmates where I lived. He would wait for me to get out of school and offer to buy me things. It’s crazy when I think about it now. This fool was off the chain with it. At the time I thought it was cool for an old dude to be on me like that, but now that I am older I am like you old dirty bastard. At the time I was to young to understand what was going on, but now I am like those perverted MF’s. I thank god I had a strict mother and father with a foot up my azz 24/7. I could have easily been a victim.
He might come out better with a white jury. Whites don’t value young black girls at all. Now he may mess around & get blacks who have daughters & grand daughters. Black people who actually see young black girls as something of value. The reason blacks didn’t give a damn about O.J was because his victim was a white woman. The sympathy in all cases depend on how you feel about the victim.

@SICKOFIT……I feel you! When I was a freshman, the senior prom King was put on a pedistol. Do you know this fool hung around my high school still trying to pick up young girls when I graduated 3yrs later. I think what happens is he was showered with so much attention in high school that he never mature. He don’t know how to socialize with people his own age. damn, i was a junior/high school cheerleader and it wasn’t even the perverts in the stands we had to worry about it-it was the basketball/football/track/training coaches we had to share the buses w/ who were constantly trying to ‘hang’ out w/ us youngin’s after school and/or games..it is sickening!
one of our track coaches actually was arrested about 2 yrs ago for boning a 15 y/o when he was 36..it took too damn long in my opinion!

We had a lot foul Chesters hanging around the high school, including the coaches, but they were never as bold as the Chesters in the stands.
I was so naive at that time, I thought they liked me because I was so mature for my age. HA
hmmm, well the prosecution in the OJ trial went with black woman, they thought these black woman would feel compassion with what Nicole had to endure. But it backfired, not much compassion for a white woman married to a seccesful black man in their eyes. Maybe it beacme more of a race-trial than a murder-trial in their eyes?
I think the prosecuters is afraid to but black people in the jury box, the fear is that they will feel like R. Kelly is one of “them” regardless of his “supposed” crime, and in the vake of the Sean Bell scandal, will cut him more slack than he possibly deserves.

When the video first came out. I can remember having a heated conversation while standing in my kitchen with my neighbors. I was speaking from experience of a young naive girl being hounded on a daily by old heads. To be exact I think older guys started pressing me when I was 13, so from 13 to about 18, they were on me and my girls. My neighbors were speaking as old azz pervs, that feel a child is old enough to understand what is happening in that situation.
