That’s right, T is for Tyrese in the new A-Team film:
John Singleton has apparently decided that Tyrese Gibson will play BA Baracus in his forthcoming feature film update of the popular television series “The A Team.”
WTF?? Tyrese as Mr T? It boggles the mind. Last we heard Ice Cube was supposed to get that role. On another note, we’re a little sick of these damned 70’s and 80’s shows being converted into movies. At the very least, they could try to pick on of the old programs with a little more promise…..

at least give it an updated look like Miami Vice was done….I would hate to see Tyreese in the original mullet mohawk rolling out of the A-Team van as it screeches to a halt
I think cube would be a better fit. But maybe Tyrese can pull it off. I don’t think he’s chunky enough to resemble BA but we’ll see.

don’t mind seeing Singleton going in a different direction with the character. Mr T as popular as he was, was on that show a total buffoon.

I don’t think they need to make this movie period. Who wants to see an A-Team movie, all these years later. C’mon, how many people ran out to see Miami Vice? I sure didn’t. Let’s come up with some original movies, there are plenty of good stories out there.
Awh, I was looking forward to seeing Cube in the that one (if Ving Rhyames was too old) then again, it might flop so good might be best for cube.

I don’t think I would go out and see this one either and I went to high school with Tyrese. I support him on all his endeavors, but I think this one is a waste of time. As for Miami Vice, I have yet to see that movie and its on cable. I rather watch Snapped

Agree 100%. Truth be told, B.A. is Mr T playing himself so no one else will ever be exactly right. But Kimbo would be fun to watch (he doesn’t need to do any proper acting). After Boyz In Da Hood Singleton’s been trash though. His Shaft update was lame and doing that was not half as hard as doing an A Team update.

I am beginning to believe that John Singleton and Tyrese are dating. Tyrese can really sing but he is no actor. Yet here he is in yet another Singleton project. And Singleton’s movies really suck!!!
Hollywood needs to stop farting around with these crappy adaptations and get cracking on a crappy adaptation of Commander McBragg. Quite.
Im so sick and tired of everything being so simple. Where are my writers at. Reality Tv is on most of the time and that is taking over. To say the very least and why is there so much repeat of making tired tv shows into movies. What is wrong with Hollywood, wont they take a chance with fresh new writers with fresh new stories. Stop recycling old ideas with some of the same ol people,
