It’s refreshing to see that Jennifer Hudson is aware of her fashion victim status:
“Jennifer Hudson has revealed she’s clueless when it comes to fashion. She says, “I have never been label-crazy. But I wouldn’t do a knock-off. In a recent interview they asked me what was I wearing. And I said, ‘I have no idea. To be honest, I don’t like any shoes. And I can’t stand heels. I don’t know what are the highest heels I ever had. And I won’t last in them too long, at all.’”
That actually explains a lot. Especially those sandals a-la-PayLess.

I agree that celebrity fashion is not learned overnight. I feel her pain about heels. They look nice on your feet but after while you must admit that they hurt unless you are wearing aerosoles. Older people tell me all the time if I don’t give my ankles a break I’ll have trouble walking as I age.

J Hud needs to realize that part of her “profession” involves fashion and that she needs to look presentable even if she is coming off a plane…this get-a-long gang attire looks a mess….if she don’t know designers then needs to get to know them…at aleast a few labels that she finds interesting…..she’s messing up her image by looking like this when she knows someone might take her picture…it’s not enough for her to look good at an award show or an industry gathering

JHud always looks cute in my opinion. Last I heard she had Andre Leon Talley (editor of vogue) giving her style tips. Problem ismost people who have style get slammed for not having it, cuz Majority of people don’t know style when they see it. read some fashion mags people, then try and come at o’girl for not havin a fashion sense. She looks good. And thick too, Biggups to her.
I like this kid. She’s guileless. I wouldn’t recommend a stylist. They don’t know anything about style, just trends. Jennifer’s money would be better spent hiring a dressmaker and cultivating a relationship with an experienced salesperson at a very good shop, on the order of Daslu in Brazil or at the very least Bergdorf Goodman or Barney’s.
Ya chicks are crazy! Granted, she ain’t got da best get-up on but we all seen far worst from others. Ya get mad at most of us guys for judging ya based strictly on appearence but then you freely critique another sista’s look without hesitation. Maybe she’s just a down-to-earth type of chick. You know, there are people in this world who don’t let fame & money get to them.
Just because some of these celebs are fabricated and materialistic, doesn’t mean they are true to them selves. Jennifer Hudson is!!! She might not be your next handbag, sunglasses, jeans, shoes, shirts, panties, bra, stockings, earrings, necklace….woo…designer like some others, but the girl is kind in spirit and above all talented! I fell in love with her for how she sings and act, not what she wears! Go Jhud!!!
What she should do is find some comfortable but figure flattering clothing and footwear(not necessary designer labels),buy it in a variety of colors. That should be a good start.

Today, if you have style, you become a star like rihanna! What a fucked up world! There is no room for talent, concistency and artistry! Just show that you can dress and you will be good!
