As much as I can’t stand Kanye’s ego, he is genius. I love his music and this video is killer. I’m from the Chi and I love that he’s brought it home to show the beauty of this great city.

1- All you wack ass rappers stop pluggin your shit, especially after a kanye video. It only makes more garbage.
2- It’s definitely one of those if you’re not from Chicago then its not for you, even though I prefer the John legend version. This song only makes me love my city even more. Next up the Cool Kids and Kidz in da Hall!

Look at Common videos, he is always deep in the hood. Chitown got luv for Common and you can tell cause he not afraid to kick it at the crib.

I don’t think “Flashing Lights” went over ppls heads it just didn’t match the song…the song had life and it’s a club hit the video was the opposite…and in this case they did not mix well AT ALL!!! Not to mention the skeezer he had in the video selling her own drawls as if she’s Royalty herself
The song is weak ass. It’s sort of predictable. It’s over-rated. If the same song was written by me it’s called POS but because it’s written by this idiot it’s genius.
