Corinne Bailey Rae’s Husband Found Dead

Corinne Bailey Rae’s husband, a saxophonist with the Haggis Horns, Jason Rae was found dead in London on Saturday:
The body of 31-year-old Jason Rae was found around 3:15 PM Saturday, a victim of an apparent drug overdose. Cops reportedly arrested a 32-year-old man for “supplying controlled substances.” He was then released on bail. No word on if his wife was at home.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to his and her family. R.I.P.

This is very sad. I actually gasped out loud because I was so shocked. I love Corinne’s music, but never knew she was married. I never thought anything about the “Rae” attached to her name. I hope that she has a supportive circle of friends and family to support her in this time of bereavement.
Bossip mentioned that he died of an appearant drug overdose. If that’s the case, it is not very uncommon. As a matter of fact, it affects many people…rich or poor. I hope that other artists (and others alike) can learn from the recent drug-related deaths of celebrities recently.
