Hillary Clinton stopped by Tyra’s show and discussed how she coped with Bill’s infidelity:
“The momentary feelings — you know, you are mad, you are really upset, you are disappointed — all of that goes through your mind. I have found you really shouldn’t make decisions in the heat of those moments. I say you have to be true to yourself,” Clinton said. “No one story is the same as any other story. I don’t know your reality. I can’t possibly substitute my judgment for yours. … You have to do what is right for you and that may not be what anybody else believes.”
Why are they discussing this old topic? Hillary is trying to play on the sympathy of women since her dirty tactics against Obama backfired. It’s obvious that she is searching for every minority to target. What is your next move? Becoming the spokesperson for PETA?

We are ALL fallen. Every one of us. I think what makes the distinction (for me) is whether a person acknowledges that or not. It wasnt going to be enough for me to hear that Obama was a Christian, no. Why? Because there are some Dem platform issues that are not Biblical. My faith lines up with Republican ideology on abortion, and gay marriage but I know that its showed itself to be divisive as h*ll. So I looked at Obama and was convinced that not only is he sincere about his faith but candid about his struggle with it. He understands what ‘we’ are trying to reach the unsaved with but ‘we’ also have to understand we live in a pluralistic society. Its better to have someone who understands and is open to listen, than someone who refuses to hear your side. IMO, Bush and Clinton are exactly the same…just different parties. Obama comes off as authentic, sincere, hopeful and like everyone else who hears him says…inspirational. “They’re all crooks” is the cynical mindset that the last 20 years has left us with. Its like an abusive relationship. You stop thinking that you can have something better. Well I believe we can have better. I believe we can BE better. Obama gives me that hope…when no one else does.

I think Clinton’s comments last weekend sadly did what it was designed to do…mainly hurt Obama. I can’t blame Charlie Rangel…he is a Rep. from New York so he and Hillary are in the same congressional delegation (NY) so you would expect him to support her. I am still supporting Obama hard but I think the Clinton camp’s jabs were effective. Plus, the Latino vote is likely to push her over the edge. O appeals to highly educated Blacks and Whites. This is not the grassroots in the party who tend to prefer Clinton.

I think what many people dont realize is that the first CHANGE that Obama is talking about is changing the mindset of this country. To even look at him as a viable candidate requires that we throw off the ties that have had a stranglehold on the country for decades. If you cant FIRST fathom that something is possible, you wont be able to hear what the plan is. Obama is (very wisely) addressing the HEALING that this country must first undergo. That is the first change. His saying YES WE CAN, is speaking to millions of people who have grown discouraged about the direction of this country, who have been systematically convinced that it cant get better. Bush has done a number on this country yall. Its been like an abusive husband who doesnt listen-who doesnt acknowledge your point of view. Who embarasses you in front of company.

I have been raised democrat and i never really understood why until i started researching more this is my second time to vote and now i see how research really matters, i think when you really look at what these people stand for by knowing what they voted against or for is the real key not what they say, I tend to lead more republican as i get older, democrats use programs and little things to throw at the minorities especially the ones who are low income, but what i am finding are they are so liberal anything goes with them i had this conversation before with people and now i know people really don’t have no idea about what these people are really going to do or what they are for, i am not going to vote for obama just because he’s black or clinton because she’s a woman its so much more to it, like gay marriages, gun control, school vouchers the military don’t ask don’t tell, so i have to get out now these type of conversations never end up to well, i am out. this is just my opinion not meaning to offend anyone or their beliefs!

Im not going to say its not amazing. Iowa was not a fluke though. NH he came 3% under Clinton. I went to a MeetUp yesterday in probably the richest part of San Diego and the meeting was full of (other than blacks) who were excited about Obama. People who you look at and by appearances, they look like stone cold W fans. I understand the hesitancy to believe it. I told my dad “now I kind of know how yall felt about Kennedy”. The man is real. He is pulling whites, republicans, independents…he is. It was a bunch of them in that meeting I went to.

I’m not sure how true it is because I haven’t checked into it about an email I received. The candidates were all standing and were suppose to be saluting the flag. Everyone had their hand over their heart sluting the flag but Obama. Now, why would he want to run a country that he has no respect for? To me, saluting the “AMERICAN” flag is a sign of respect…am I wrong?
Secondly, I feel that nothing should be separated from religion. This may just be me, but I would want a government leader who believes in God and the power of joined prayer. A persons religious believes really does matter because most morals and values are based on religious teachings.
We have to acknowledge God in everything we do. Proverbs 3:5 says , “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart and lean not unto thine own understanding. Acknowledge Him in all thy ways and He will direct thy path.” With everything that is going on in this world today, we need someone who will seek counsel from the Creator (God). Would you rather receive directions on how to operate a dvd player from a dvd manufacturer or a pencil manufacturer?
I’m not at all sure who I will vote for at this time but, yes, I will be praying and asking God for his guidance. Religion is not suppose to be confined to the church. If Christianity remained in the church, who would reach the unsaved?
I said all that to say this. Don’t try to erase God from anything because we need Him in everything. This post is not meant to offend anybody so I hope I didn’t.
